Descriptions of some of the new classes offered

Choreography with Musicality-Edwin Rivera will offer a workshop to showcase how to dance not just to a specific count but to use different instruments of a song to dance and create choreography for both social dancing and routines.

Performance Choreography-Sekou will offer workshop that will teach an actual routine over the course of two days to be performed and showcased on Sunday night on stage! Sekou will select those who will perform after the second workshop on Sunday is completed. This is an exciting opportunity to learn and perform at the Texas Salsa Congress on Sunday!

Shines & Women�s Styling-Many times both women and men mention they are unsure what to do when they break off to do shines and footwork. This workshop will pick a song and teach what both men and women can do when they break off to do separate footwork and shines. The men will concentrate on unique men shines while the women will focus on footwork with ladies styling. They will show that when you break off that both men and women can �shine� through footwork and complement each other on the dance floor!

Afro Latin and Movement with Live Drumming-Designed to incorporate essential body isolations that relate to Latin social dancing. This class will enable students to develop freedom of moment and individual styling while dancing.
