Ashle Dawson
Hometown: Los Angeles, CA

Ashle Dawson, a native of Long Island, New Jersey, was a contestant in the first season dance reality show "So You Think You Can Dance." She began to show talent in dancing at the age of three. Aside from dancing, Dawson also sings and acts. She aims to become a well known artist who will break the barriers of conformity as far as dance and performing go.

Ashle had had opportunity to dance with many artist such as Don Omar and at events such as the Latin Billboard Awards and American Idol. Recently, Ashle had the honor to perform at the 2008 Latin Grammys held in Houston, Texas.

Ashle brings a great deal of talent to the TSC as she has such a wide range of dance styles and training. This will be the first time that Ashle performs and attends the Texas Salsa Congress. Come join us as we give her a huge Texas welcome!
