Jose Santoyo
Hometown: Los Angeles, CA

Jose Santoyo and Robyn Chance are the newest love story to hit the Los Angeles Salsa scene. Both from seperate dance backgrounds, they have twenty-one years of dance experience between them. Jose was born in Mexico, and quickly moved to LA with his family. His first dance experience was in breakdance, then soon after he trained in American Ballroom and Salsa. He taught at the Arthur Murray Dance Academy, formerly directed Afeenix Dance Company and simultaneously directed and choreographed the Internationally acclaimed Otero Dance Company's Salsa Department. Jose has toured all over the world with Salsa, from China to Japan, Mexico to New York and performed with Eva Longoria's Hot Tamales Live at Ceasar's Palace in Las Vegas. He has recently departed LA's top team, Magic Mambo, the 2007 Mayan World Salsa Champions, to dance with his soon to be bride. Robyn was born in Texas, though has also lived in New York City, Jamaica and Hollywood while working in entertainment.

She began dancing Ballet as a pre-teen, then joined Austin's 96.7 KISS FM Dance Team doing Hiphop, and taught Texas' first controversial "Cardio Striptease" dance class at the Atomic Dance Factory. She also founded the style of dance called "Urban Belly" in 2004. Once moved to LA, Robyn quickly joined Liquid Silver Productions, partnering the Team Captain. More recently she has partnered the director of the 2008 Mayan World Salsa Champions, Tropical Rhythm. In between, Robyn has been featured dancing in MTV music videos with Chris Brown, Daddy Yankee, Pharrell, Brooke Hogan and more famously as the Lead Dancer of Baby Bash's "Cyclone" video. HBO, the Travel Channel, Wild on E!, Miss Hawaiian Tropic International, Maxim Magazine and FHM Magazine are a few other credits attached to Robyn's professional career. Together as one, Jose and Robyn bring a clean, romantic fusion of Salsa, Ballroom, Burlesque and Bellydance to stage and television.
