Jorge has been dancing cince the age of 5, taking tap lessons and touching a little on ballet. At the age of 12 he completely stopped dancing and decided to play baseball. He continued to play throughout his college years for Division I at Chicago State University.

Jorge picked up salsa at the age of 22 and joined Latin Rhytms Academy of dance. He has been with them for 2001-2006 performing, and still teaches at this studio. Within the past year, Jorge started training in jazz to add to his repertoire.

Jorge is co-director of Urban Vibe, which was stated in 2003 as solely a male group. In june of 2006, it was decided to expand the team by adding more females and males into the mix. Jorge has been traveling dancing since 2002, and has performed from Puerto Rico, Bermuda, Los Angeles, Miami, Houston and many other various cities throughout the United States. Jorge has also appeared on shows such as "Sabado Gigante", "Dance Fever", and "So You Think You Can Dance".
