Aside from dance performance and choreography, Robyn is a true artist of nearly every medium; she was born in Houston and studied dance in Austin, New York and Los Angeles for seventeen years. She currently resides in Dallas, Texas. Her primary dance roots are in Ballet, Burlesque and Hiphop. She’s a former member of Austin’s 96.7 KISS FM Hiphop Dance Team, and instructed Texas’ first controversial “Cardio Striptease” dance class at the Atomic Dance Factory. While living in LA, Robyn partnered the team captain of Liquid Silver Productions, and the director of Tropical Rhythm (the 2008 Mayan World Salsa Champions). Robyn has been featured dancing in MTV music videos with Chris Brown, Daddy Yankee, Far East Movement, Pharrell, Gwen Stefani, Brooke Hogan and more famously as the Lead Dancer of Baby Bash’s “Cyclone” video. Other credits attached to Robyn’s professional career are Maxim Magazine, FHM Magazine, HBO, the Travel Channel, Wild on E! and Miss Hawaiian Tropic. Robyn partners perfectly with Roberto Lay, and together they formed the hand-painted T-shirt line called ‘Bachateez’, named after their fluid, sultry style of Bachata. As a fresh new traveling couple, Robert and Robyn are known for their wild painted bodies, his glittering mohawk and her rear-length jungle hair. Together they give an ultra sensual, jaw-dropping fusion of Urban Bachata, Salsa, Ballroom and Burlesque to their students and audiences everywhere.
