DJ David Cruz has earned the name “The Evil Genius”. Before DJ David Cruz was Spinning at clubs allover the U.S., he was David Cruz, a Puerto Rican and Dominican kid from Alief (South West Houston Texas). At age 15, David was introduced to the turntables and soon after bought his first set of Techniques 1200’s. (Bad Idea!), David broke into the club scene and began playing at the legendary afterhours Club Cache’. By 2001, David had established himself as a dominant DJ and was playing in at least 4 clubs a week.
