Antonio Doza-Williams – NYC

Antonio Doza-Williams, of Dominican background, has been dancing since the age of three. After many years of studying hip-hop and modern he took an interest in dancing Salsa. In 2008, he trained with the world renouned dance team ClaveKazi located in Washington, DC and Japan. In 2010 he moved to NYC to start his teaching career and works with kids up to adults. His amazing Spinning, Isolation, Body movement and styling skills brings an intriguing style to the floor.

Known for his great performance presence, he brings so much heat to the stage that he guarantees all eyes are on him. He is featured in the salsa documentary La Epoca Pt.2, and is featured in various music videos by many top name Artist. Antonio has traveled throughout the US showing off his talents and to other countries such as the Dominican Republic, Bolivia, Japan, Colombia and Guatemala.

Our Story

It started as an idea between friends, bringing a congress to Texas where at the time Texas had no active congress in the entire state. A congress that would showcase Texas Salsa talent, bring awareness of salsa to the community and raise money for scholarships. Together David Melendez and Ruby Rivera worked hard and in January 2004, the Texas Salsa Congress was born.
