\"\"<\/a>Born and raised in Houston, Texas Jose \u201cBeto\u201d Calvillo has been dancing since the age of fourteen and choreographing since the age of seventeen. His drive for dynamic, creative, fast choreography lead him to pursue the competitive side of performance art. Beto has been a competitor in the following competitions Texas Salsa Open, Puerto Rico Salsa Open (junior division), World Salsa Championships, and World of Dance Dallas. \u2028Performing was a great passion of Beto\u2019s, but he soon realized to be a great all around dancer, he needed to gain a purer inspiration. Being one of the founding dancers of a new hometown performing company further ignited his passion. Later that year he was added as an executive choreographer and costume designer. Through this outlet he inspires young dancers with knowledge, guidance, feedback and support. Building on future talent motivates him to continue and expand his performing experience, by dancing in Japan, Hawaii, New York, Puerto Rico, California, Louisiana, Florida, Illinois, and Texas. This is just the beginning of Beto\u2019s Journey, through positive energy and the support of family he is not looking to stop anytime soon.<\/p>\n
