\"\"<\/a>Kimberly Tordjman, Director of Epica Latin Dance Co and Hawaii Salsa Champion, has over twenty years of training in many forms of dance, beginning with ballet in the Royal Academy of Dance style under Jennifer Schwartz at Kauai Dance Center, Victoria Koenig of Inland Pacific Ballet, Chris Witt, Paul Roach, Ballet Hawaii, West Hawaii Dance Theatre, Michelle Cole, Mary Haur, Drill Team Hawaii, and numerous other dance studios in Kauai, Oahu, and Southern California. Kimberly’s main experience is in Salsa, Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop, Swing, and International Style Ballroom. Kimberly is a 2007 & 2008 USABDA National Ballroom Dance Champion with the Claremont Colleges Ballroom Dance Company’s Formation Team at the Ohio Star Ball. Originally from Kauai, she picked up salsa and bachata on the dance floors of Honolulu and LA. Kimberly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Pomona College, along with degrees in English Literature and Anthropology. By day, she works at Magnetic Moments and The Key Guy. She currently also performs with Dancers Unlimited.<\/p>\n

Phillip and Kimberly Couple Profile\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

As a performance couple, Phillip and Kimberly have quickly become one of Hawaii\u2019s big latin dance acts, winning the title of 2011 Hawaii Salsa Champions at the Summer Salsa in Paradise, earning them the right to represent Hawaii in the World Latin Dance Cup in Las Vegas this December in the Professional Salsa On 2 Division.<\/p>\n

After a year as dance partners,\u00a0Phillip Duong\u00a0and\u00a0Kimberly Tordjman\u00a0founded Epica Latin Dance Company in 2011 with the motto, “Be epic.” Epica embodies their unique and exciting performance style with multiple group reportoirs and sizzling costumes for audiences of all ages and backgrounds.<\/p>\n

Combining prior training in mambo, ballet, hip hop, modern dance\u00a0and\u00a0ballroom, Phillip and Kimberly have blended their talents to put on fantastic latin dance pieces on stages throughout Hawaii, popularizing Latin dance through performance, training, and education.<\/p>\n
