Christopher Guzman was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. \u00a0Coming from a Puerto Rican family, Latin music and dance has always been a part of his life. Throughout his high school years, he was trained in ballroom dances such as tango, rumba, foxtrot, and the waltz. However, he has found himself circling back to the influence of his family\u2019s roots and found an interest in mambo and salsa. Chris has been dancing at the Lorenz Latin Dance Studio professionally for nine years. In this time, he has performed in numerous countries, choreographed many routines, and instructed dance lessons at multiple congresses and events. He has taught hundreds of students to dance over the years ranging from levels of beginner to advanced. Specializing in salsa, Chris\u2019 main goal is to inspire students around the world to have a deeper appreciation for the music we\u2019ve all grown to love; salsa.<\/p>\n
