Growing up she would learn choreography by watching videos on<br \/>\nher own and learning from others. She started out with hip hop, had been<br \/>\na part of her High School\u2019s dance team and began taking classes at<br \/>\nBroadway Dance Center. It wasn\u2019t until October 2007 that she joined<br \/>\nthe Lorenz Latin Dance Studio and found her passion for Salsa. She<br \/>\nstarted off taking salsa classes and joined the student dance team,<br \/>\nwhere she realized performing was going to be an important part of her<br \/>\nlife. Since then she has gotten the privilege to dance on the semi-pro<br \/>\nteam Reflejo de Lorenz and excelled to the Pro Team, Lorenz Latin<br \/>\nDancers, and has traveled to different parts of the world performing,<br \/>\nincluding Peru, Texas, Puerto Rico and dr to name a few. Throughout her<br \/>\ntime in the studio she\u2019s learned other various styles of dance<br \/>\nincluding cha-cha, hustle and rumba, and bettering in bachata and<br \/>\nmerengue. She is also one of the children instructors in their kid\u2019s<br \/>\nprogram, as well as an instructor for the adult classes. She teaches<br \/>\nweekend workshops including Zumba, as well as cha cha, partner work and<br \/>\nhip hop alongside Christopher Guzman. Throughout her 8 years dancing she<br \/>\nhas been grateful for her continuous growth as a dancer. She\u2019s<br \/>\nperformed at venues including Madison Square garden and citi field, and<br \/>\nhas performed alongside various artists such as Loisaides and Winstar.<br \/>\nErika has been fortunate enough to obtain opportunities to perform on<br \/>\nlive television such as Fox 5 and NY1.
