\nIsmael Otero, New Yorican native living in New Jersey, founder and\u00a0director of the “Caribbean Soul Dancers”, is also known as the Million\u00a0Moves Man.<\/p>\n

Ismael Otero’s dance style is considered out of the ordinary from the\u00a0traditional New York style.<\/p>\n

Over the years, Ismael, coming from break dancing and hip hop\u00a0background, has created a unique style of dance that includes complicate\u00a0arm work, unusual and funny hand flips, unique turn patterns, exciting\u00a0foot work and more, combined with flavor and technique.<\/p>\n

Ismael has a strong connection with the music and he is known for\u00a0dancing to every note or beat of the music.\u00a0Ismael has been traveling and teaching since 1996, teaching his unique\u00a0turn patterns and foot work to thousands of people all over the world.<\/p>\n

In addition, Ismael has been performing in numerous salsa congresses and\u00a0festivals and TV shows all over world such as Italy, Switzerland, Spain,\u00a0Portugal, France, Canada, England, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Israel,\u00a0Germany and etc.<\/p>\n

He has won many competitions in various clubs in New York, New Jersey\u00a0and Miami-one of it was in the famous Latin club “Copa Cabana” in New\u00a0York City .<\/p>\n

As well, Ismael came in 2nd place in the Night club style division of\u00a0the “Dancesport” competition in Madison Square Garden.\u00a0Ismael won many awards over the years from Latin associations such as
\n“The best male performer” in the New York, New Jersey Salsa awards. He\u00a0also received 2 awards from the L.A Salsa Congress in 2002 and in\u00a02011,which is the biggest salsa congress in the U.S, for his\u00a0contributions to salsa.<\/p>\n

Ismael’s humble attitude and welcoming personality is what makes him\u00a0popular amongst the mambo community today.<\/p>\n

In May 2009, Ismael danced as a backup dancer at Ismael Miranda, A Salsa\u00a0legend, 40 years anniversary concert in the United Palace in the Bronx,\u00a0NYC and had the opportunity and honor to take part in such an important\u00a0and historical event.<\/p>\n

Caribbean Soul Bio September 2014\u00a0The Caribbean Soul Dance Company was founded in 1997. Ismael Otero aka\u00a0\u201cThe Million Moves Man\u201d wanted to show everyone his unique style and\u00a0bring the best out of his dancers.<\/p>\n

Together they have traveled all over the world to give everybody a taste\u00a0of their special Caribbean Soul.<\/p>\n

Using the creative dance forms of the streets, combined with technique\u00a0and a passion for the music, Ismael Otero created Caribbean Soul, known\u00a0around the world as one of most exhilarating dance groups who have\u00a0maintained their place at the top of the game for more than 17 years!<\/p>\n

Caribbean Soulhas taken Bachata performances to new levels of creativity\u00a0and musicality. They cater to traditional-authentic style Bachata while\u00a0pairing dynamic performance elements that equate to powerful, energetic\u00a0shows.<\/p>\n

Caribbean Soul Bachata were the1st place winner in the NYISC Bachata\u00a0Championship 2011. They were also the 1st place champions in the 2014\u00a0Bachatu Festival Bachata Championship and currently, Caribbean Soul\u00a0Bachata holds 2nd place title in the Madrid Bachatea World Masters. They\u00a0were most recently recognized and awarded in Beijing, China for having\u00a0the most creative choreography. Amongst all of the their achievements,\u00a0Caribbean Soul’s innovation and passion for dance has captured audiences\u00a0across the globe.<\/p>\n
