Destiny Garcia has been dancing for about 6 years and has been trained by world renown instructor Nelson Flores. She is currently dancing with Nelson Flores’ dance company Descarga Latina, both Semi Pro and Pro team. She has performed in many different events such as the New York International Salsa Congress 2010-2012, CT Salsa Congress, an event for Paul Shaffer and many other venues in the tri-state area. She has had the privilege to perform in London for the Mambo City Salsa Congress and assisted in teaching workshops with Nelson Flores. She most recently was hired to performed in a concert for Tipica 73’s 40th anniversary and Danced for boxer Miguel Cotto’s press release on Showtime. Destiny continues to train, teach and perform in hopes to further her career and spread her love for dance. She will be at the Texas Salsa Congress dancing with Eddie Torres Jr & this upcoming couple will be one to watch for years to come! <\/p>\n
