Framboyan Dance Company is one of the newest dance companies in New York City, Founded and directed by Oneysis Tony, a former Yamulee Dancer and temporary Co Director of Bajari de Yamulee and Guarikiten De Yamulee. In 2013, Oneysis had an Idea to build his own dance company and show his vision of dance. Once no longer in Yamulee, Oneysis began his vision and asked Melany to join project. They now have been training all three of their teams Framboyan Pro, Semi Pro, and Student Team and performing all over New York City. With their own personal touch of technique and fun Oneysis and Melany along with their dancers have won Mexico’s heart as their first international trip and are now expanding themselves more to other states and other countries.

Our Story

It started as an idea between friends, bringing a congress to Texas where at the time Texas had no active congress in the entire state. A congress that would showcase Texas Salsa talent, bring awareness of salsa to the community and raise money for scholarships. Together David Melendez and Ruby Rivera worked hard and in January 2004, the Texas Salsa Congress was born.
